“Come Along!” (Ole Kaasas!) is an Internet promotion project launched by EMT, Elion, MicroLink and the look@world foundation (Vaata Maailma SA) in the framework of the My Estonia initiative.

Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications, in cooperation with the e-Governance Academy, organise the conference "e-government - new horizons?". Conference will be held in Sokos Hotel Viru, on January 22nd.

This time we concentrate on the future of information society and predict the future of e-government from the different point of views - what will happen in ten years (in 2018).

Estonia aims to become a country with the most secure information society in the world

TALLINN – On May 23, leaders of the largest banks and telecoms (SEB Eesti Ühispank, Hansapank, Elion, EMT) as well as the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications of Estonia signed a co-operation agreement to launch a nationwide „Computer Protection 2009” initiative, pledging to invest up to EEK 60 million to increase end-user PC protection and awareness in Estonia.

Both the clients ordering the applications and the developers of applications are participating in the stand organized by the Enterprise Estonia and the Estonian Informatics Centre, introducing their knowledge and products in general.
