Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications, in cooperation with the e-Governance Academy, organise the conference "e-government - new horizons?". Conference will be held in Sokos Hotel Viru, on January 22nd.

e-Estonia conference - "Information society for everybody" was first held in January, 2007.
This time we concentrate on the future of information society and predict the future of e-government from the different point of views - what will happen in ten years (in 2018).

Secretary General of ITU (International Telecommunication Union), Dr. Hamadoun Touré is going to give a presentation "Connected world in 2018" during the first session of the conference. First session will be moderated by the Minister of Economic Affairs, Mr. Juhan Parts.
We have also invited several enterpreneurs, professors, directors, politicians etc. to make their vision about the future and to create a live discussion with the audience.
