Public administration agencies have started to increasingly use the Internet/Extranet/Intranet technologies. As a rule, every agency installs its own server. This is not bad but puts an ordinary user into a difficult situation: he should know all the places services could be obtained from. To avoid that, an information server embracing all public administration systems or at least an introductory server has been installed in most countries. It is especially difficult for those outside Estonia to obtain any information on Estonia. Hopefully the government will regulate these activities in the near future, including purchasing a separate external channel for the state administration system. After that, the issues related to the combining/dispersement of the rest of the Internat applications (name, ftp, news, www, time etc. servers). Until that time, the existing search and directory systems have be used, such as http://www.ee/, http://www.neti.ee/, http://altavista.telia.com/ and others.
